Version 0.9.3 · October 24, 2026. Targeted transfer sends only Key and Scale to the selected instance. Logic always requires a destination choice; other hosts automatically select a single compatible instance. Nothing is sent automatically.
| Host | Targeted transfer | Evidence and limits |
|---|---|---|
| UAD Console | Working locally · experimental | Real-Time X 11.8.0. Selected insert, readback and Undo tested on this Mac. |
| FL Studio 2026 | Working locally · experimental | Artist 9.2.0. Two live instances tested in both directions; only selected Key/Scale changed and Undo restored every exposed parameter. Other editions are not enabled yet. |
| REAPER 7.82 | Working locally · experimental | Artist 9.2.0 AU and Real-Time X 11.8.0 AU. All 72 live transfer/Undo cases passed across three instances. Unique track/effect identity and per-instance parameter mapping. Real-Time X’s custom editor stalled in this setup; transfer was tested with it closed. Audio playback was not tested. Setup. |
| Ableton Live 12.4.7 | Working locally · experimental | Artist 9.2.0 AU: 48 transfers/Undos. Real-Time X 11.8.0 AU and VST3: 72 transfers/Undos across three X instances, with Artist present; all 93 exposed controls restored. Apollo must be connected and Live’s audio engine enabled. Transport stayed stopped; no audio quality or recording test. Returns/Main/Racks remain simulation-only. Setup. |
| Logic Pro 12.4 | Working locally · PICH hosted plug-ins | Artist 9.2 and Real-Time X 11.8 AU inside their PICH Link plug-ins. Mixed mono/stereo X and Artist test: 72 sends/Undos, peer isolation and all 93 controls restored. Copied-project selections refused. Mono/stereo playback and internal-bus recording at 48 kHz passed: 288 sends/Undos plus two browser Send/Undo checks, with all 93 values restored. Physical microphone tracking, automation write and long sessions remain unvalidated. X requires connected UAD hardware. Re-select after project reload. Setup and limits. |
| Pro Tools 2026.4.1 | Working locally · limited experimental support | Real-Time X 11.8 AAX. Choose A–E by track and insert, or capture a selected later insert. The later-insert route has been live-tested on mono and stereo inserts F–J. An extra Auto-Tune in A–E is no longer required; the v0.9.1 initialization checks are detailed in the test report. Use uniquely named mono or stereo audio tracks in the current eight-channel HUI bank, with recording off and no track automation. Normal playback is supported in v0.9.2 when the track uses Read or Off automation mode. Live playback samples cover mono/stereo B and J; audio quality is untested. The v0.9.3 final stereo B check restored all 180 exposed controls. Discovery now reconnects after Pro Tools restarts. Multi-mono is unsupported. 11 live sends and 11 Undos passed across all five supported insert positions, with six actual Auto-Tune instances present. Every case checked all six instances’ Key/Scale. The first stereo sample changed only its Key/Scale; the other 60 controls stayed unchanged. The final inspection restored all 180 exposed controls across six instances. Test report. |
| Studio One | Not implemented yet | Control Link supports assignments. A reliable discovery and readback connection still needs development and host testing. |
| BandLab AutoPitch | Manual entry | Use Copy settings and choose the key/scale in AutoPitch. No direct instance-targeted connection is implemented. |
The v0.9.1 stopped-playback checks with every A–E slot unassigned passed on mono and stereo F, G, H, I, J. All ten mono/stereo placements from F through J passed with A–E completely empty. Live matrix and evidence.
REAPER and Ableton discovery recognize Artist, Pro, Access, EFX, Hybrid and UAD Real-Time names. Each instance must expose a complete readable key/scale map, or match the checked Artist or Real-Time X AU layout and musical current-value readback, before Send is enabled. A recognized name or a passing simulation does not establish that a particular edition, version or AU/VST3 format works. Unsupported formats are reported instead of receiving guessed parameter values.
Logic Pro 12.4 is now installed; its connection is being tested in a separate project. Pro Tools 2026.4.1 and Avid Link 2026.4 are now installed. The user completed Avid sign-in and developer agreements; the Pro Tools Scripting SDK 2026.04 was downloaded for local evaluation. No purchase or subscription was started.
Logic Pro: PICH Artist Link and PICH Real-Time X Link give each hosted instance a temporary unique address. Closing or restoring it invalidates the old selection. Mixed-edition and copied-project checks passed. Generic OSC writes remain blocked. Setup and validation.
Pro Tools: Real-Time X 11.8.0 AAX: 48 app-connection transfers and 48 Undos passed across two instances. Every case checked the other instance’s Key/Scale. Native host locking passed 20 focus-switch challenges. Independent checks restored all 60 exposed controls. The connection combines the locally configured PTSL SDK with HUI feedback and a native batch lock. SDK files remain outside the distributable app. Full validation.
Copy settings remains available for manual entry. Pro Tools also has the limited selected-instance connection described above. The existing Auto-Key option is a broadcast and has not been validated in either host; it does not satisfy exact-instance selection.
The optional Auto-Key handoff remains a broadcast to every enabled receiver. It does not provide an instance selector, receipt or Undo. Use a targeted DAW connection when isolation matters.
